The Dubai-based Al Habtoor Group will open a prestigious hotel in central Beirut soon, reported the Gulf News on Sunday.
Called the Metropolitan Palace Hotel-Beirut, the property is part of Metropolitan Hotels International and will begin operating in September.
The new Metropolitan Palace Hotel is located only a few minutes from Beirut International airport and is a one-and-half-hour drive from famous historical sites such as Baalbek, Aanjar, Jeita, Cave and Tripoli, said the paper.
The hotel includes 225 rooms and 15 suites, all offering facilities for international businessmen. The hotel also features venues for conferences, seminars and business meetings, and a variety of restaurants and cuisines.
Other hotels in the group include the Metropolitan Hotel - Dubai, the Metropolitan Palace Hotel, the Metropolitan Resort & Beach Club and the Metropolitan Deira Hotel, said the paper – Albawaba.com
