The 59th annual Emmy awards show on Monday, 17th September is television's biggest night of the Showbiz calendar and this year E! will be reporting live from the red carpet exclusively on SHOWTIME to make sure you don’t miss a second of TV's version of the Oscars.

Showtime is home to very latest of the hit shows battling it out for the Emmy’s including Ugly Betty, Grey’s Anatomy, Lost, Desperate Housewives, House and Heroes all firm favorites on the SHOWTIME network.

Hit series Ugly Betty has 11 nods, including Best Comedy Series for which the show will compete against other Showtime favorites including the Office, whilst America Ferrera who plays fashion-challenged personal assistant Betty Suarez finds herself up against Showtime’s leading ladies Felicity Huffman (Desperate Housewives) and Mary Louise Parker (Weeds) for Outstanding Comedy Actress.
Kiefer Sutherland, winner of last year's best actor award for his role in 24, is nominated again alongside the legendry James Gandolfini and the brilliant Hugh Laurie star of the medical drama House.
The Grey's Anatomy girls are preparing for the Emmy race. Included in the 10 nominations; Katherine Heigl, Sandra Oh and Chandra Wilson find themselves in the Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category.
In addition to a best actor nomination for his role in Extras, Ricky Gervais has been nominated for his writing and directing. Ironically he is up against Steve Carell who stars in the US version of The Office created by Gervais.
