Empost appoints Abdelaziz A. Al Mazmi as Sales Manager - Move is part of Empost’s growth strategy

Empost, the UAE’s national courier company, has announced the appointment of Abdelaziz A. Al Mazmi as its new Sales Manager. Al Mazmi will be responsible for the entire sales and business development activities of Empost both within the UAE and internationally.

A Bachelor of Marketing from the University of Wisconsin, USA, Al Mazmi joins Empost from Emirates Airline, where he held various managerial positions, including that of District Manager in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Al Mazmi’s previous positions at Emirates Airline include Acting Sales Manager of Mumbai, and Commercial Graduate at the airline company’s sales office in Dubai. Prior to joining Emirates Airline, Al Mazmi had held the post of Head of Commercial Promotion and Information Center at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI).

“The appointment of Al Mazmi to the post of Sales Manager is part of Empost’s growth strategy,” said Sultan Al Midfa, CEO, Empost. “We were looking for a young and dynamic candidate, someone capable of giving a new direction to Empost’s sales strategy. Al Mazmi was the ideal choice, having proven his ability in his years with Emirates Airline by contributing significantly to that company’s growth. Commenting on his appointment, Al Mazmi said, “I consider it an honor to be appointed the Sales Manager of Empost.
