Epson reaffirms focus on Saudi market through specialised sales training on business products
Epson Day in Riyadh and Al Khobar aim to provide comprehensive information about latest business projectors, printers and scanners to resellers and distributors
Epson Middle East has announced that it yesterday (Monday, April 7, 2008) organised the Epson Day in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, featuring an intensive sales training on its business product portfolio for its channel partners in the country, in line with its strategy of consolidating its market presence. The company is also organising the Epson Day in Al Khobar tomorrow at the Holiday Inn hotel.
The Epson Day mainly focuses on training the company’s channel partners in KSA on Epson’s business scanners, projectors and printers, with an aim to equip them with in-depth knowledge about the latest technologies used and the unique selling proposition of the products, so as to maximise sales in the high potential Saudi Arabian market.
“KSA is one of the most important markets for Epson in the Middle East, with a steadily increasing demand for our broad product range across the Kingdom,” said Zaid Ghattas, Business Development Manager, Epson Middle East. “We are pleased with the response and outcome of the Epson Day in Riyadh that we organised in cooperation with our partners, and we are expecting a similar response in Al Khobar. We fully recognise the importance of our channel partners, who are integral to our market success since they form a vital link between us and the end user. It is imperative for us to keep the channel up-to-date with the cutting edge technologies used in our business products and to make them fully understand the distinct advantages that Epson’s products offer customers.”
The Epson Day training sessions feature special demonstrations of the recently launched AcuLaser M2000 series of high performance monochrome laser printers, the AcuLaser C3800 series of A4 printers, the CX11NF multifunction colour laser printer, among others. Epson’s latest business scanners include the GT-2500, GT-20000 and Perfection 4490, while the company’s new line up of business projectors include the EMP-1815, the EMP-1715 and the EMP-1710. In addition, Epson’s range of projectors for the education segment, comprising the EMP-400W, EMP S5 and the EMP 83/822, are witnessing major demand in the regional market.
“Epson has a range of projectors, printers and scanners that are designed to effectively serve the needs of the education, government, healthcare and SMB sectors in the Middle East, a market in which we have been consistently strengthening our presence through quality products and after sale services, enhanced channel partnership and innovative marketing activities,” concluded Ghattas.
Among Epson’s key value added distributors that are taking part in the Epson Day are Al Hoshan, SaudiSoft, and Samir.
