Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan canceled election rallies Friday in order to rest his voice, Reuters reports. He allegedly had trouble speaking at a rally on Thursday.

The Prime Minister has faced major backlash in recent weeks after he implemented a ban on Twitter and later a ban on the website YouTube.

Erdogan detractors accuse him of corruption and various leaks have damaged his campaign. In the most recent leak, someone posted to YouTube a recording of top security officials debating potential military action in Syria, according to Reuters.
