Estonian Foreign Minister visits Morocco

Estonia’s Foreign Minister, Kristina Ojuland, arrived in Rabat on Wednesday for a two-day working visit to Morocco, where she is expected to discuss with Moroccan officials various common issues.  

 

Ojuland said her visit would be an opportunity to exchange views with Moroccan officials on matters of common interest, especially those related to relations with the European Union (EU), the official MAP news agency reported. 

 

Furthermore. she explained that Estonia is a candidate to membership to the EU and will become a member in 2004 and Morocco has very close ties with the EU and is playing a major role in the Mediterranean region.  

 

The Estonian Minister is scheduled to meet members of the Moroccan government, speaker of the chamber of advisors and hold a working session at the Moroccan enterprise federation (CGEM), the news agency concluded. (Albawaba.com)
