Etisalat to connect Citibank UAE operations with its Managed WAN service

Lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Ease of Management key drivers for Citibank

Etisalat today announced that Citibank had selected its Managed WAN service to optimize network connectivity across its entire UAE operations to cover its head office, branches and financial centers in the country.
Citibank will be able to use Etisalat’s Managed WAN service for hosting applications, in addition to centralizing the delivery of Internet access to their distributed operations without having to implement a separate Internet access and security infrastructure for each remote location thereby lowering their TCO(Total Cost of Ownership).
Etisalat will provide Citibank with a one stop solution for connectivity, routers and onsite support through its Managed WAN service in order to replace the bank’s existing legacy network on leased line with an IP-VPN Solution, which will offer any-to-any connectivity with proactive monitoring and resolution from Etisalat.
