The European Union will soon open a representative office in Riyadh, an EU official said on Wednesday.
The spokesman of the EU commission in charge of external relations, Gunnar Wiegand, told the official Kuwait news agency, KUNA, that the commission had decided to open a representative bureau in Riyadh for the six Gulf states.
Wiegand said that the EU’s decision came due to the development of relations between the Gulf Cooperatin Council and the EU.
