ALBAWABA - Student Palestinian sympathizers at Evergreen campus in the US have reached a major agreement with the campus administration.

The Columbian stated that student protesters and university administrators achieved a settlement on April 30th after a series of Palestinian rights demonstrations.

The accord required President John Carmichael to call for a Gaza truce, the release of all captives, and increased humanitarian supplies.

Evergreen University has pledged not to endorse study abroad programs in conflict zones like Israel, Gaza, or the West Bank or those that discriminate against Jewish or Palestinian students.

Students and university administration form collaborative committees to execute the agreement's terms. The university will assess these initiatives by 2026.

University spokesman Farra Hayes thanked the calm protests and stressed the significance of student-administrator engagement.

Alex Marshall, a signatory to the accord, praised the collaborative effort that led to requests during a week of school demonstrations.

At Brown and Northwestern universities, student-led rallies for Palestinian rights led to institutional accords. Evergreen institutional's resolution follows suit.

The arrangement included Brown University demolishing a Palestinian solidarity camp and scheduling a student delegation to address their plea for divestment from Israeli corporations at a university meeting.
