Offscreen Expedition is searching for aspiring British creatives between the ages of 18-21 to participate in the
journey of a lifetime to Pakistan in September 2010.
Young dynamic British artists, writers, musicians, photographers and filmmakers with a genuine commitment to
challenge important issues faced by today’s youth are invited to apply online at:

The winning students will travel to Pakistan for two weeks in September, exploring the Pakistan beyond the
headlines, travelling and meeting young people within their home communities, and taking part in activities
from Lahore to Mirpur. The team will create a visual travelogue of their experiences which will be accessed through
the award-winning interactive website, engaging thousands of their peers across Britain and the world.
Offscreen Expeditions Director Stephen Stapleton explains: “We want to support young people to have a more
authentic and creative first-hand experience of the world around them; help them experience and
communicate a reality away from the media stereotypes to be found in newspapers and on TV ... we want to
take them Offscreen.”

to offer talented students from all backgrounds the opportunity to share something of their creativity with this
exciting country of Pakistan and to travel, learn and share their ideas and experiences with
thousands more across both countries.”
