Exxon Mobil Egypt celebrates with SIFE Egypt

ExxonMobil Egypt, one of the Board Council members of SIFE Egypt  celebrate with SIFE Egypt and its Board Council members the Ranking of the French University in Cairo at the First Place in SIFE World Cup

Cairo 9Th May, 2010 – Under the auspices of his Excellency Dr. Hany Helal, Minister of Higher Education, ExxonMobil Egypt, one of the Board Council Members of SIFE Egypt, the American Chamber of Commerce (ACM), and SIFE Organization celebrate the naming of the French University in Cairo (FUC) as the World Cup Champion in SIFE World Cup, held in Berlin, Germany in October 2009.

Dr. Hany Helal, Minister of Higher Education, expressed his happiness that the winning of FUC at SIFE World Cup, describing this achievement as a rewarding for the distinguished projects presented by the 71-student university team.

"Out of its belief in training and development, ExxonMobil consistently supports initiatives aimed at preparing young leaders who will help drive Egyptian economic development in the future," commented Nihad Shelbaya, ExxonMobil Egypt Public and Government Affairs Manager.“The Egyptian Team's performance did not come as a surprise given their potential, creative capabilities and skills.”

Alexander Shalaby, head of SIFE Egypt, said he was proud of the award. "SIFE is aiming at preparing a generation of youth leader who have the sense of responsibility towards their societies. SIFE Egypt has remarkably succeeded in helping the youth and arming them with skills of leadership, innovation, and teamwork. The winning of the Egyptian team in the World Cup crowns these efforts and proves that Egypt is home to promising youths who have many leadership skills but they need support and encouraging," he added.
