fgb says ‘talk for free’ using our credit cards
First Gulf Bank (FGB), one of the UAE’s leading financial institutions and headquartered in Abu Dhabi, has come up with another ‘first’ for the region.
As an addition to First Rewards, FGB’s highly popular rewards programme, the bank has launched a new value added offer for its credit cards customers.
For the first time in the Middle East, the programme allows for redemption of reward points against talk time bills of Etisalat and du, in addition to utilities such as DEWA, SEWA, ADDC, AADC, E-vision, Pehla, Showtime, Orbit and RTA.
Girish Advani, Head of Credit Cards Marketing at FGB explained that the customer must pay his utility bill using his FGB credit card after which he can call the bank and redeem his points against the same. Platinum Credit Card Holders will get additional benefits on the same.
“This programme rewards our customers for using any of their FGB credit cards in a way that is both novel and uniquely beneficial. We believe this will prove to be incredibly popular with our customers and will be yet another way in which the Bank comes up with innovative solutions.” said Advani.
