Visitors to BurJuman can enjoy fantastic football action all month long, from June 11-July 11, as the mall's amazing dining retreat Pavillion Gardens is transformed into an atmospheric World Cup-inspired arena.

With over 15 different dining outlets participating in the football fiesta, offering everything from Asian, Italian and seafood delights to café favourites and desserts, Pavillion Gardens will present something for the whole family to enjoy while watching live matches broadcast all through the month on a large, inbuilt high-definition screen at the venue.

"Pavillion Gardens is a perfect World Cup-watching venue for families and youngsters to come and enjoy the matches in a fabulous atmosphere. No other mall in Dubai has a venue similar to the Pavillion Gardens. Fans seated in the specially created seating area will have clear viewing and be able to enjoy every bit of the daily action, while being attended to by our various F&B outlets" said Sabina Khandwani, head of PR and marketing, BurJuman.

The ceiling of the popular dining enclave on Level 3 of the new BurJuman wing will be draped with colourful flags of all the countries participating in the FIFA World Cup 2010, with other surprises in store for visitors during key match stages such as live DJ, face painting, cheerleaders and giveaways. Pavillion Gardens will be able to accommodate 250 diners on tables set up in the central platform and surrounding restaurants, with diners having to spend a minimum of AED50 on meals, snacks and beverages, which can be offset against parking fees which apply during the weekdays. Parking at BurJuman is free on weekends, public holidays and on weekdays between 12.30 – 2.30 pm and after 6 pm.

"With the new metro station offering smooth access and the completion of the surrounding roadworks easing traffic to the mall, football fans and families keen to enjoy a great evening out should have no difficulty in getting to all the matches on time and we look forward to a great turn-out over the coming few weeks," added Khandwani.
