A fire broke out Saturday on a funicular railway carrying 180 skiers through a tunnel leading to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, a major tourist site 350 kilometers (220 miles) west of Vienna, Austria's APA news agency reported.
A police spokesman told AFP that the fire started in a carriage of the funicular, which moves on rails.
