Fire engulfs oil pipeline in Homs, Syria

ALBAWABA - According to the Syrian News Agency SANA, a massive fire broke out damaging an oil pipeline in Al Furqlus area in Homs, Syria. Authorities are working on putting out the fire, and later an investigation will be launched into the matter. 

According to local media reports, the initial results of the investigation revealed that a number of individuals were attempting to loot the pipeline, only for the spot they were snooping around to go up in flames leading to the killing of one of them, in addition to another injury reported.

One of the bodies was retrieved as relevant authorities were fighting to put out the fire. It is believed that the body belongs to one of the men who were trying to loot the area.
