First Plane Lands in New Egyptian Airport

A German airplane with 240 tourists on board was the first plane to land at the newly built Egyptian Marsa Alam international airport, the daily Al Gomhuria reported.  

The tourists, who came from Frankfurt,were received by the governor of he Egyptian City of Al Qussair, Mohammed Amin Meqeishet. 

This airport is the first of its type in Egypt, which was based on the B.O.T system. 

Earlier the Minister of Transport, Ibrahim Al Demairi visited the airport many times to ensure that it was ready for operation, the paper added. Albawaba.com
