In Algeria, suspected armed Islamist extremists killed five people, including a man in his nineties and his son who were found with their throats slit, newspapers reported on Monday.
The reports said the elderly man and his son were murdered on Sunday at their home in Abou El-Hacine near Chlef, some 200 kilometers west of the capital Algiers. (Albawaba.com)
