Fifteen dunums of olive groves in the Bint Jbeil area in south Lebanon were destroyed in a fire on Sunday after two vehicles collided, reported the Daily Star.
A pickup truck collided with a Mercedes, said the paper, adding that the pickup swerved off the road and onto a slope, where it caught fire.
One person was seriously injured and the fire destroyed approximately 15 dunums of olive groves.
The blaze was eventually put out by civil defense personnel – Albawaba.com
