The Republican-dominated Florida legislature opened a special session on Friday to consider appointing the state's slate of electors.
The House and the Senate had scheduled simultaneous sessions to discuss the nomination by the state legislature of Florida's slate to the Electoral College, which chooses the US president -- TALLAHASSEE (AFP)
