Four Pakistanis and two Bangladeshis were beheaded Friday in Saudi Arabia for crimes including murder and drug smuggling, reported The Associated Press, quoting an interior ministry.
Three Pakistanis and the Bangladeshis were executed in the central province of Riyadh for abducting and murdering a young boy, the statement said.
It said the men had "bad intentions" when they abducted the boy, implying rape, said the agency.
When the boy, whose age was not given, started to scream, they stabbed him to death and buried him, said the statement read over national television.
Their five accomplices, two Indians and three Bangladeshis, were sentenced to jail terms and lashes, the statement said, but gave no further details, AP added.
Also on Friday, a Pakistani convicted of smuggling heroin was beheaded in the eastern Saudi city of Dammam, the statement said.
The executions bring to at least 59 the number of people beheaded in Saudi Arabia this year. At least 99 people were executed last year, according to AP - Albawaba.com
