The 11th edition of the World Festival of Sacred Music, which was held in the city of Fez from June 3 to 11, crossed "genres and epochs thanks to an electrifying and spiritual collage of music," wrote the French daily newspaper "L'Humanite" (Humanity) in a feature he devoted to this Festival.
EMarrakech reports that daily emphasized the unique historical setting in which the Festival was held and the rich cultural program of the event. The newspaper marked, among of the highlights of the event, the concert given by Ravi Shankar, "The Indian Master of Sitar and classical music" and the concert of the "Qawali Flamenco" group.
