The Moroccan city of Essaouira has hosted last week an international competition of windsurfing. The event attracted several Moroccan and French champions including 11 French surfers, who are considered to be among the best surfers in France, and two professional Moroccan surfers, Boujemaa Guelloul and Fettah Al Amara.
The eliminatory phases of the contest were held in Sidi Kaouki beach, in south Essaouira, and the final phases were held in Moulay Bouzerktoune. <i>EMarrakech</i> reports that the winner of the contest was Yannick Anton from France.
