fujitsu siemens computers fastest growing vendor in the x86 server market for the second quarter 2007
Company achieves 14.1 per cent* in EMEA X86 server segment with PRIMERGY Server– more than the top five competitors
According to the latest figures from the market research institute IDC, the X86 servers from Fujitsu Siemens Computers, the leading European IT manufacturer and market leader in Germany, are expanding in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region (EMEA), above the market average and more quickly then its competitors. The company grew by 14.1* per cent in the X86 server segment with its PRIMERGY Server during the second calendar quarter 2007. The market only achieved 8.6* per cent in the same period.
According to the IDC EMEA PC tracker for the second calendar quarter 2007, Fujitsu Siemens Computers had above-average market growth for its PRIMERGY Server for the X86 server market in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, rest of the Middle East and Morocco*.
