To complement the growth of the technology sector throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Fujitsu Siemens Computers (FSC) has hosted a series of training and half-day technology updates targeted for customers, channel partners, and resellers.

The events, hosted in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Khobar, outlined solution updates for both volume products such as handhelds and LIFEBOOK mobility offerings, as well as enterprise servers and infrastructure solutions.  In addition, FSC’s channel partners received intensive training in the same cities on sales opportunities, and how to best solve the business challenges of the Kingdom’s businesses using FSC technologies.

“Our objective in hosting these training and solution updates across Saudi Arabia is to help enable a ‘new oasis of technology’ to be created in that market – one that addresses the business demands of our customers and helps our partners to grow their organisations as well,” said Samer Sayed, sales manager for Fujitsu-Siemens Computers in KSA.

“FSC’s customers in Saudi Arabia have identified two key issues for 2007 – the need for greater employee mobility and the demand for a more dynamic data center – and we are addressing these objectives through our range of mobile and infrastructure solutions,” he added.

Throughout 2007, FSC has planned a series of similar training and solution update events to be rolled out across strategic markets within the Middle East region.
