Galileo, a leading global distribution system (GDS) and subsidiary of Travelport, has announced it has signed an exclusive agreement with Sama Airlines under which Sama Airlines will only distribute it’s content through the Galileo GDS in the Kingdom, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
Sama Airlines, for the first time now present within a GDS, is a low cost carrier currently serving destinations within the Kingdom. Galileo now enjoys connectivity to all three operating airlines in Saudi Arabia; Saudi Airlines, Al Khayala Airlines and now Sama Airlines.
