Gambian Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Baboucarr Blaise Ismaila Jagne Saturday hailed UAE's attempts to revoke his country's debts and improve living conditions.
Speaking in a lecture at the Zayed centre for Coordination and Follow Up, Jagne said that the UAE had also contributed in some development projects in Gambia. According to WAM, he said his country was looking forward to increased trade and investment ties with the UAE.
Businessmen and other public sector officials from Gambia will visit the UAE in the near future to acquaint themselves with the UAE experience in setting up successful business models such as Jebel Ali Free Zone, he said. (Albawaba.com)
