At least four Palestinians were hurt, one of them seriously, in an Israeli air raid on the Gaza Strip on Friday, medical sources said. The aircraft struck near the Jabaliya refugee camp in the north of the territory, the sources said, according to AFP.

Israel said the  strike took place after five mortar shells were fired by Palestinians in Gaza on Thursday evening towards the south of Israel. The shells landed in open areas. There were no reports of injury or damage.
