Hamas said its security forces killed the leader of an al-Qaeda-inspired group in the Gaza Strip following a fierce gun battle. According to the AP, a Hamas security official said Saturday morning that Abdel-Latif Moussa, the leader of Jund Ansar Allah died in a blast while fighting Hamas forces in the southern Gaza town of Rafah.
Hamas added 19 of Moussa's followers were also killed. The fighting started Friday when Hamas forces surrounded a mosque where some 100 members of the group were holed up. Over 150 wounded in the fighting.
