Gaza Strip: Israel kills at least seven Palestinians

At least seven Palestinians were killed in a clash between resistance fighters and Israeli occupation soldiers in the northern Gaza Strip on Monday. At least three of the dead were confirmed to be fighters and one is a senior member of the Popular Resistance Committees (PRC).

 

The PRC said the target of the Israeli raid appeared to be Ata'a Shindari, who led the group's rocket-launching branch. Shindari and one of his brothers died by the Israeli fire, Abu Abir, the group's spokesman, said.

 

Palestinian hospital officials said the dead included three brothers and their cousin. At least five other Palestinians were injured by gunfire near the town of of Beit Hanun.
