Gaza Strip: At least four Palestinians killed in clash with Israeli patrol

At least four Palestinian fighters were killed on Monday after they tried to cross into Israel near the Karni (Mintar) crossing. According to Israeli press reports, just after 6 A.M at least ten Palestinians opened fire on an Israeli patrol, which returned fire. An Israeli source said that the Palestinian group was planning to kidnap a soldier.


According to locals, the Palestinian fighters fired anti-tank weapons and set off explosives against the patrol.
