Two Palestinians were wounded by an Israeli air-strike that targeted tunnels in Al Brazil neighborhood in Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, medical sources reported on Wednesday. Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli air force fired several missiles into the area causing two moderate injuries. Damage was reported.
In addition, the Israeli Navy fired several shells at Tal Al Sultan neighborhood, also in Rafah causing damage but no injuries. On Tuesday evening, the Israeli army fired shells at a group of Palestinian fighters in the northern part of the Gaza Strip; no injuries were reported.
Gaza fighters fired two rockets into Israel Tuesday without causing injuries, the Israeli army said. One of the projectiles damaged a fence at a kibbutz collective farm and another fell into an open space, a spokesman said.
