Kuwait hosts Thursday a GCC conference aimed at shunning normalization of relations with Israel, reported the Gulf Daily News.
The event is expected to draw more than 250 delegates from the GCC states.
“The meeting is aimed at coordinating the activities of the different associations in the GCC and chalk out a plan of action,” said Ibrahim Kamaluddin, vice-president of the Gulf Committee for Resisting Normalization with Israel.
The meeting will provide an opportunity for exchange of views on the challenges facing Arabs and what action could be taken, he said.
The Bahraini delegation will be distributing specially-made T-shirts to delegates attending the meeting.
“The T-shirts feature photographs of four-month-old Eman Hajjour, nine-year-old Mohammed Al Durra and other child victims of Israeli atrocities in Palestine,” he added.
Thursday’s meeting is the second of its kind to be organized in Kuwait.
The first, held last year, was a much smaller one attended by delegations from only three GCC states.
“This meeting is on a much larger scale and will be attended by delegations from all GCC states, with the exception perhaps of Oman,” said Kamaluddin – Albawaba.com
