The executive committee of the Gulf health ministers will hold its 54th meeting on Wednesday in Doha to discuss health care issues in the GCC countries, according to Qatari news agency (QNA).
Citing a statement, the agency said the officials will tackle a host of vital topics, such as heart and vascular diseases, fighting diabetes and cancer, medical check-ups of imported labor and smoking dangers.
The participants will also discuss funding health care, coordinating preventative health services among GCC states, making effective use of media outlets for health care awareness campaigns, manufacturing medicine and creating a registration center where records of medical firms and their products are filed on hand – Albawaba.com
