The justice ministers of the six Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)countries are expected to conclude their current 13th meeting in Manama by setting up a human rights committee and an internet home page.
Bahrain’s Justice and Islamic Affairs Minster Sheikh Abdullah bin Khaled Al Khalifa said in his opening speech that the participants would mull over both proposals.
GCC Secretary General Jamil Al Hujailan was quoted by Kuwait’s official news agency (KUNA) as saying that the GCC region had taken many positive steps within the framework of Islamic law.
