Germany to hold snap election next February

ALBAWABA - The German ruling party Social Democratic Party announced that elections will be held on February 23rd, 2025.

Germany's largest political parties have agreed on a timeline for a general election on February 23, according to a source in Chancellor Olaf Scholz's Social Democrats (SPD), AFP reported. 

According to the source, the agreement was achieved between the center-left SPD's parliamentary factions and the conservative main opposition.
