Germany's crude oil imports from Iran rose by 45 percent in the January-July period compared to the figure registered within the period last year, reported Iran News Agency (IRNA), quoting a report by the German economic office.
Germany's crude oil imports from Iran rose to 636,0000 tons in the January-July period from 341,000 tons over the period the preceding year, said the report.
According to the report, Germany imported 208,000 tons of crude oil, worth 89,889,280 marks, from Iran in July, each ton being 432.16 marks on average.
The value of Germany's crude oil imports from Iran amounted to 19,332,370 marks in June.
Total crude oil imports from Iran in the January-July period was 59.9 million tons, up 0.8 percent, compared to the figure within the corresponding period the year before, according to the agency - Albawaba.com
