Bank Sarasin-Alpen (Qatar) LLC a subsidiary of Bank Sarasin & Co. Ltd, a leading Swiss private bank, together with its investment banking associate Alpen Capital Investment Bank (Qatar) LLC hosted its second annual GLOBAL FUSION concert on Thursday, 12 November 2009 at the Intercontinental Doha.
Present at the event were Dr. Hamad bin Abdul Aziz al-Kawari, Qatar's Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage and H.E Sheikh Mohammed Bin Ahmed Al Thani, Former Minister of Commerce and Economy, Qatar along with leading personalities from the GCC.
This year, in addition to world renowned musicians from across the world, the event also featured the Qatari artiste – Abdul Aziz Jassim Al Hidose on the Oudh. The concert was lead by the world renowned Saxophonist - George Brooks along with musical gurus like Imamyar Hasanov, Steve Smith, Niladari Kumar, Fazal Quershi, Homayun Sakhi, Fareed Haque, Kai Eckhardt and Hossam & Serena Ramzy.

Abdul Aziz Jassim Al Hidose, the famous Qatari artiste known to weave musical tones with the Oudh

Hossam Ramzy, the famous percussionist Known as “The Egyptian Rhythm Ambassador", started his musical career on the Egyptian drums, tabla & then moved on to being a reputable jazz-drummer
