ALBAWABA - Global Sumud Flotilla, which is heading to break the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip, announced the expected date to reach the shores of the wartorn Palestinian city, The New Arab reported Sunday.
Wael Nawar, coordinator of the Global Steadfastness Flotilla, confirmed to The New Arab that the flotilla is only three days away from reaching Gaza.
He added that ships will likely arrive on September 30 or October 1, and that relies on the weather conditions, developments, or whether any attacks occur, taking into consideration that Israel warned that it won't allow the Global Sumud Flotilla to reach Gaza.
Wael Nawar explained that they are currently south of the Greek island of Crete, heading toward Gaza, and have not passed the coasts of Turkey or Cyprus.
