Global Village, the region’s entertainment, shopping, and cultural attraction located in Dubailand, has been attracting visitors of all ages into the thrilling gaming and fun fair zone. The entertainment area that takes up the biggest space in the park has an addition of almost 30 per cent new games and rides in this year’s edition of Global Village.
Greeting the guests into this area is the wonderful and sweet carousel that all kids should try. The towering Ferris Wheel is not only a breathtaking ride but also a magnificent sight. It is a favorite amongst visitors for photo opportunities.
Visitors will definitely love the thrilling adventure of the more than 70 different rides. Some of the exciting rides include the Rollercoaster, Mouse Spinning Coaster, Sky Rider, High Speed, Giant Wheel and Frisbee, among many others. The most recent addition to the long list of rides is the Bat Coaster, a one-of-a-kind steel-inverted rollercoaster that leaves riders delighted.
Aside from the traditional coasters that get the loudest shouts and laughter from visitors, Global Village also offers water fun in rides such as River Rafting, Freij Flume and Wild Mouse.
The other rides that excite young children are the Flying Clown, Formula 1 and the Bump Cars. Kiddie rides, mini-coasters and fun games like throw a dart and bowl-a-rama are fun additions to the fun fair.
Global Village secures the full enjoyment of visitors to the fun fair zone by ensuring the safety of the equipment used. All equipments are checked before installation, and tested these twice a day. Also, Global Village ascertains that all the games and rides have the required safety certificates from Dubai Civil Defense Department.
Indeed, this games and fun fair ride area gives visitors an atmosphere of comfort and fun. It is the ideal place for recreation where family and friends find a new experience of excitement. Tokens to the games and rides are bought separately from the entrance fee to Global Village. The average amount for the fun fair ranges from AED 10 to AED 50.
Etisalat is the official partner of the 14th edition of Global Village. Doors open at 4pm in the afternoon until midnight except on Thursdays and Fridays when it is extended until 1am in the morning. Mondays are allotted for families only. Tickets are priced at AED 10 each. For the disabled and kids below three years old, entrance is free.
