Globitel's Feel@Home to Cater to Umniah's Roamers

 

Globitel, a leading provider of Roaming, VAS and Customer Care solution, recently announced that its Feel@Home solution will be the latest addition to Umniah's lineup of roaming services.

As inbound roamers are not always familiar with international dialing protocols, the Feel@Home solution offers two modules that facilitate the adaptation of a network's roamers whilst on foreign grounds.

The first module, called the Home Dialing Module, helps roamers in using their home short codes by using a comprehensive global database containing translations of short codes for each network around the world. This allows roamers to dial their already stored contacts while on a foreign network without needing to add an international code. 

The second module, called Call Completion Module, detects common dialing mistakes made by roamers and tries to correct by adding the missing international codes to the outgoing calls.

The two modules are designed to increase roamer satisfaction, improving in the process an operator's overall roaming revenue.

Known for their speedy installations and exemplary post-sale support, Globitel completed the integration of Feel@Home into Umniah's infrastructure in late 2008, and the service has now been fully launched for Umniah's roamers.
