Governor of the Dubai International Financial Center congratulates the Jet Ski team for its winning in the championship
The Dubai International Financial Center congratulated its Jet Ski team for the results achieved in the fourth round of the UAE championship for Jet Ski, held in Abu Dhabi after his two members Ahmad Bin Ghaleb and Seif bin Fteis achieved the first and second place respectively for the category of Stoke seating up to 1600 CC. The DIFC renewed its commitment to supporting the team and its two champions who won 9 cups in the championship last year and raising the flag of the country up to the first place.
This sponsoring by the Dubai International Financial Center for the Jet Ski comes in the scope of the continuous commitment of the Center to supporting sports and athletes in a way that contributes in raising the name of the country in the sports field.
On this occasion, H.E. Dr. Omar Bin Suleiman, Governor of the Dubai International Financial Center said: “At Dubai International Financial Center, we are keen on supporting the sports activities in the country because they are inherent in our corporate social responsibility and enable us to communicate with the audience all over the country and the world. We would like to congratulate the Jet Ski team for these good results that confirm that we are all partners in raising our country high”.
For their parts, the champions Ahmad Bin Ghaleb and Seif Bin Fteis expressed their happiness saying: “We would like to thank Dubai International Financial Center for its generous sponsorship; Mr. Marwan Lutah, the executive director of the Central Administration; Mr. Abdullah Bin Sukat, the executive director of the Commercial Sector in the Center and team manager for their great care and continuous encouragement of our team and its honoring performance. We as a team give this success to all DIFC people who support us in our ventures”.
Mr. Abdullah Bin Hamed Bin squat, the Executive Director of the Commercial Sector and Team Manager explained the importance of the sponsoring by DIFC to Emirates Jet Ski team, confirming that the Center and the team are united with one goal, represented in reinforcing the position of the UAE internationally. He said: “The sponsorship of DIFC was a great incentive for the team members to achieve successive successes. I hope next year would be a good year for the team and the DIFC”.
It is worthy to say that the DIFC Jet Ski team is the only team formed of just two members and the only team all of whose members got prizes. Ahmad and Seif make a good team and plan to win together and have developed this team together to be on top.
