Manager of Amman City, Eng. Ammar Gharaibeh, stressed on Greater Amman Municipality’s (GAM) keenness to provide its citizens with knowledge through holding training courses that aim at improving their performance level, and rendering distinguished services to the Capital’s citizens.
During the graduation ceremony of the fifth batch of “Cambridge” ICDL certificate holders, 250 of GAM employees, he emphasized the importance of using IT in GAM work to achieve its vision and message.
On his part, Executive Director of IT Department, Engineer Sakhr Khreisha, said that holding the training courses for the employees, especially those related to developing the job performance, effectively contributes to bridging the digital gap among the citizens, exchanging knowledge using modern and advanced methods between GAM employees, which positively reflects on the quality service rendered to the citizens.
Head of the training center, Engineer Fadwa Abu Ghaida, affirmed that GAM is keen on encouraging and publicizing computer utilization among its cadre to keep pace with the developments and to offer better services. She also declared that those graduates are the fifth batch to be graduated from the IT center of the training center, as the electronic training is done through outer center.
In conclusion, Gharaibeh handed over certificates to the participants in the presence of the Advisor of the Restructuring and Institutional Performance Development Project at GAM, Eng. Ismael Al Usta, and HR Department Director, Engineer Ismael Al Zaben.
