During a high-profile and star-studded award presentation in Abu Dhabi, Grand Hyatt Amman was voted “Jordan’s Leading Business Hotel, 2007” by World Travel Awards 2007.
This decision was reached by travel agents worldwide.  The Middle East & Africa voting campaign reached a total of 167,000 travel professionals worldwide, including more than 110,000 travel agents.

Hailed by the Wall Street Journal as the "Travel industry's equivalent to the Oscars", the World Travel Awards are the most comprehensive and most prestigious awards program in global travel industry today. Attended by the captains of industry, the World Travel Awards ceremonies are highly regarded as the calendar event and forum that serves to acknowledge, reward and celebrate the enormous achievements found in all sectors of the global travel industry.

The general manager of Grand Hyatt Amman, Mr. Otto Steenbeek said regarding this award: "We are thrilled and honoured to receive this prestigious award from our travel partners, especially when bearing in mind that in October of 2006, we were voted “Top Hotel in the Middle East” by our customers as well. A truly magnificent recognition for all the efforts the Management and Associates have put into the repositioning and rebuilding of Grand Hyatt Amman! It means we’re doing something very right and our customers and partners seem to recognize and appreciate it.”

He continued explaining that it furthermore proves that last year’s prestigious Conde Nast Award was not a one-off affair. The consistency in delivering quality service is being recognized now for a second year in a row!

Steenbeek continues “Hyatt has always been synonymous with quality and it is Hyatt’s continuous desire and drive to excel in service delivery towards all customers in each and every market place it operates. Testimony of this may be found in the fact that Grand Hyatt Dubai, Grand Hyatt Cairo and Grand Hyatt Muscat all won awards at the World Travel Awards ceremony.”

“We will continue our journey to achieving even greater levels of service with the upcoming room renovations, which will see Grand Hyatt Amman turn into a near new and truly cutting-edge hotel, with outlets and public areas having been recently renovated.”
