Grand Hyatt Amman recently announced the appointment of Rabah Abu Sbaitan as Director of food and beverage, and Jamie Hagan as the new Executive Chef at the hotel.
This comes as part of the hotel’s policy to bring in diverse experiences that add to the quality of Grand Hyatt Amman, giving its employees an opportunity to grow and advance in their area of specialty.
Before assuming his current position, Rabah was the hotel’s executive chef. He has impressive work experience, having worked for many first-class hotels around the world, including Grand Hyatt Dubai and Hyatt Regency Taba Heights. His vast knowledge of international cuisines and the culinary arts has enriched Grand Hyatt Amman’s dining experience.
Chef Jamie was born in Ireland and comes from a family of chefs who have catered for many movie crews, including for Braveheart. He has more than 15 years’ experience in various countries in the Asia Pacific region, as well as Ireland and the US, and has worked in renowned restaurants and on cruise ships.
In 2007, Chef Jamie joined the Hyatt Group, working at Grand Hyatt Istanbul’s award-winning restaurant, The Prime. He then went on to join the pre-opening team of Park Hyatt Istanbul-Macka Palas
