Grand Hyatt Amman Embraces Ramadan

Grand Hyatt Amman is welcoming the Holy Month of Ramadan in 2009 in the generous spirit of the “Gates of Damascus”.

The “Gates of Damascus” at the Grand Ballroom was devised to offer guests an authentic Iftar feast.  A variety of traditional Syrian dishes will be served, accompanied by the live Oriental tunes of musician Fouad Rakan and his famous trio.  This Iftar is given an exciting twist with a weekly raffle draw, the winners of which will be presented with valuable gifts chosen specially for the occasion.

The hotel's Zara Expo is also ready for corporate Iftars and Sahours, where specialties from the Middle East and international cuisines are available for large-scale Ramadan events.

Sawani terrace, with its palm trees, calming fountains and open-air charm,
is available to cater to private Iftars or Sahours for up to 300 people.

After Iftar, The Terrace is the perfect spot to relax under the moonlight, and is where guests can enjoy magnificent views of Amman, refreshing juices, savoury Ramadan sweets and a selection of Nargileh flavours.

The Grand Deli Shop will be offering home-made Ramadan and Eid specialties and goodies throughout the month.
