Gulf Air’s social gesture to Bahraini community
Airline launches special fares for senior citizens

As a demonstration of its social commitment to the people of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the national flag carrier, Gulf Air has launched special fares for senior citizens.

Bahrain citizens of age 65 years old and above, can avail these special, discounted fares for travel in Economy Class across all Gulf Air operated destinations.

“Senior citizens are the living legends of the Kingdom’s heritage and history,” says Gulf Air Executive Vice President Marketing and Sales Lee Shave.

“This gesture reiterates the corporate responsibility of Gulf Air to support the Bahraini society, where it has been operating for over five and a half decades now.”

On production of a copy of CPR or passport, senior citizens can buy their tickets from any of the Gulf Air ticketing offices in Bahrain.

“We were inspired by the recent visit of the Crown Prince to the Kingdom and the Commander-in-chief of Bahrain Defence Force His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who pledged his support to the national carrier and underlined its importance in the economic growth of the Kingdom,” says Gulf Air General Manager Bahrain Abdulmalik AlSaei.

“It is but natural for the national carrier to support the Bahraini society in every possible way it could. These special fares for senior citizens is a reflection of this commitment.”
