Gulf Air supports Hyper Hoops Basketball Clinic

Gulf Air once again extends its full-fledged support to the Hyper Hoops Basketball Clinic, as the Official Carrier.

The second Hyper-Hoops Formal and Scientific Technique (FAST) Youth Basketball Camp and Coaching Clinic will run from October 12 to October 15, training youngsters between 8 and 18 years, male and female, of any nationality. The event is organized by the Filipino Club in cooperation with the Philippine Embassy, Kingdom of Bahrain.

“Gulf Air, as the flag carrier of the Kingdom, is always proactive in extending its support to such activities, be it sports or charity,” says Gulf Air Acting Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing Danny Barranger.

“The clinic follows the success of the inaugural Hyper-Hoops FAST camp held in Bahrain in June, in several youngsters took part.”

The Hyper-Hoops FAST event will this time consist of two levels. The first will be on the basics of basketball, aimed at coaching new entrants while the second will be advanced lessons, to be conducted for the returning participants from the first camp.

Philippines’ well-known basket ball coach Alfrancis Chua will fly to Bahrain to be the resource person for the camp.
