Gulf Air, known for its generous 'million miles promotion' under its Frequent Flyer Programme (FFP), has come up with a jackpot offer by which FFP members stand to win the million miles prize twice in a new promotion announced by the airline.
Under the promotion, three monthly draws will take place in October, November and December for travel between 1st September and 30th November 2006.
In addition, a final draw will be held in mid-December to which all members, who have flown during the three month promotion period, will be re-entered into the draw.
"Since the relaunch of the Gulf Air Frequent Flyer Programme in September 2003, we have run annual promotions offering members more chances to win the 1,000,000 frequent flyer miles," says Gulf Air Vice President Sales and Marketing Lee Shave.
"This year we are offering our members four chances to win the jackpot prize of 1,000,000 miles in a three month promotion."
Every time a Frequent Flyer member flies between 1st September and 30th November 2006 and remembers to quote their membership number at the time of booking and at check in, they will automatically be entered into the draw for that month. They will also be entered into the final draw.
"The million miles draw has always been popular among our FFP members," adds Shave.
The Gulf Air million miles winner will be able to travel for free, to any of the 50 Gulf Air destinations worldwide while enjoying the luxury of First or Business Class cabins and its award-winning Sky Beds and, the services of Sky Chefs. For instance, the winner can travel 6 times between London and Sydney, or use it for 55 return Economy Class flights within the Middle East or 10 return Business Class flights from Bahrain to Europe, or 9 return Economy Class flights from Muscat to Sydney.
"Gulf Air offers one of the most generous loyalty programmes in the airline business with benefits that include an extended mile life of 10 years, excess baggage allowance, priority check-in, baggage handling as well as priority wait listing if our flights are full. We also offer lounge access depending on membership level," concludes Shave.
