Gulf Craft Inc, the Middle East’s largest boat and yacht manufacturer, has today revealed the latest luxury additions to its sleek Majesty range with the unveiling of the Majesty 101 and the Majesty 56 at a press conference on the eve of the Dubai International Boat Show.

The two new elegant vessels make their international debut at the Dubai International Boat show and visitors to the Gulf Craft stand will be among the first in the world to see the models.

“The introduction of two new Majesty yachts reflects Gulf Craft’s continued market expansion over the last twelve months. The two new sleek models will further add to the impressive portfolio of vessels Gulf Craft currently offer”, said Erwin Bamps, Executive Manager, Gulf Craft.

The Majesty 101 is a true super-yacht, from the immaculate exterior styling and the no-compromise naval engineering to the exquisite interior workmanship. We offer you a recommended 5 bedroom lay-out with owner’s suite either on the lower deck or main deck, a semi-raised pilot house and accommodation for up to 5 crew members.

Gulf Craft is once again a most prominent exhibitor at DIBS 2007 and is exhibiting a total of 21 vessels at this year’s premier boat exhibition representing the company’s growing market share and continued commitment to servicing the maritime needs of the Middle East.

Dubai International Boat Show is one of Gulf Craft’s most important events in the maritime calendar. In 2006, the local company secured sales worth more than $10 million during the exhibition.

“The Dubai International Boat Show is an excellent platform to launch new models and a fantastic opportunity to showcase the quality of manufacturing, design and finishing of our crafts. Visitors to DIBS are highly discerning and this premier exhibition is a great platform for sales both in the region and beyond,” said Erwin Bamps, Executive Manager, Gulf Craft.

The new Majesty 101 and Majesty 56 reflect the local company’s continued growth and were built at Gulf Craft’s expanded assembly area at its design and construction facilities in Umm Al-Quwain that already extend to a total site area of 43,000 square metres. The new expansion to the Gulf Craft factory facility will be ready for operation in the second half of 2007.

The Majesty 118 - 2007 model; Majesty 44 – launched in 2006 – but the first time shown at Dubai boat show in 2007; Oryx sport cruisers for the first time available in both Sunset (orange) and Aqua (greenish-blue) versions, with 2007 interior; GC Marine Sooly 31 Center Console and GC Marine Adora 38 - 2007 version; GC Marine Adora 53 for the first time in the Dubai International Boat Show, although launched in 2006. The new factory of GC Marine in Hamriya is now in operation.

“The future of Gulf Craft lies in its aim to develop from a present-day global player into a top 10 global player. With a company philosophy to render boat ownership more democratic, we equally strive to deliver an ever-improving product with an excellent quality-of-finish, great value and an even higher enjoyment-factor.”

“The Middle East markets count about 30,000 registered boats, but a small minority of it is yachts (less than 15%). Almost two-third of the boats are registered in the UAE or Kuwait. But even these two countries still see the leisure boating industry still in an infancy stage. Bottom line, the growth potential is huge, with most of the Gulf markets still untapped, but will take considerable longer time than most analysts predict,” concluded Erwin Bamps.

Gulf Craft Inc, based in Ajman in the United Arab Emirates, now exports more than 70 per cent of its output and its super-luxury vessels are to be found in virtually every major harbour of the world.

Although Gulf Craft Inc began life building small pleasure craft, it is now a mainstream producer of multi-deck masterpieces where neither expense nor effort are spared in setting the definitive ‘state of the art’ standard for ocean-going luxury.

It is one of only a handful capable of producing vessels of 100-ft and over, with an annual production of about 700 vessels up to 130 ft overall length.
