Hörmann KG, Europe's leading manufacturer of doors for private, commercial and industrial applications today announced its decision to participate at the forthcoming Big 5 International and Building Construction Show 2010 in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Hörmann set up its Middle East operations in 2009, catering to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Jordan, Iran and Kuwait. In its first year of operation, Hörmann Middle East worked with some of the region's renowned companies namely Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Porsche, Almarai, Procter & Gamble and Siemens among others.
As per research reports, the UAE construction industry is expected to grow at a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of around 20 percent between 2010 and 2013. Rapid economic development is the major factor driving construction activities and infrastructure developments in the UAE[i].
"The value of active civil projects (building, infrastructure, leisure and entertainment) in the UAE alone is valued at AED5.2 trillion (US$1.38 million) as of November 2010, with much higher projection figures for the next three years[ii]. These figures endorse our belief that the Middle East is a lucrative region. The Big 5 show will provide us a platform to promote our German expertise and introduce our innovative product lines for the region," asserted Darius Khanloo, Managing Director of Hörmann Middle East.
Hörmann Middle East will display a wide range of industrial sectional doors, rolling shutters, high-speed doors, dock levelers, dock shelters, steel doors, garage doors, operators, and an extensive selection of accessories at the Big 5 show. The company also
offers complete systems for modern loading houses, high-speed doors with rigid or
flexible curtains for any building opening, fire and smoke-tight doors and top-class office doors.
Hörmann KG Middle East will be present at Dubai World Trade Center, Zaabeel Hall, German Pavilion, Stand P111 from November 22nd – 25th, 2010.
